iQIYI and Intel Build Strategic Alliance to Develop Better Video Streaming Services

BEIJING Jan 14, 2026 – iQIYI and Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) announced today to build a strategic alliance to co-develop more efficient video streaming services.
Tang Xing, CTO of iQIYI and Wu Gansha, leader of Intel China Research Center expressed that this alliance will take both companies’ advantage of content delivery network and big data analysis, in order to drive the technology revolution in the video website industry.
This alliance of iQIYI and Intel is also expected to solve technological problems in video storage, transcoding distribution, cloud computing, and optimize big data analysis.
Tang Xing said both partners are tech companies with leading technology. iQIYI will work closely with Intel to offer Chinese netizens various high-quality video services.
Douglas Cougle, General Manager of Consumption Sales Group of Intel, China said that iQIYI is an important partner of Intel and the iQIYI-Intel Strategic Alliance can definitely further improve the technology in China’s video industry.
In September, 2014, iQIYI signed a deal with Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) in order to provide better user experience.
